Correction: Mayoral spokeswoman Louise Kim McCoy says Peter Carlisle went to the Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill on February 4, 2011. The mayor covered a lot of territory and detail at the landfill with Waste Management general manager Joe Whelan and ENV director Tim Steinberger, she wrote Civil Beat.
We note with interest that Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle has found his way to Santa Fe but not to the Waimanalo Gulch Landfill.
We’re sure Santa Fe is much nicer this time of year, but the mayor’s business ought to be finding its way to the gulch.
