Feb. 4: Waste Management Daily Progress Report

In January 2011, the Environmental Protection Agency ordered a cleanup at Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill. Civil Beat requested documents generated for the EPA pursuant to that order, and will be publishing them, raw and unedited, in real time.

According to the Feb. 4 report, Waste Management finished laying pipe for the diversion channel. Cement will be poured on Tuesday. Crews have begun their investigation of a exposed side wall liner in Cell E6.
