In January 2011, the Environmental Protection Agency ordered a cleanup at Waimanalo Gulch Sanitary Landfill. Civil Beat requested documents generated for the EPA pursuant to that order, and will be publishing them, raw and unedited, in real time.

From the Jan. 28 daily progress report:

The Environmental Protection Agency approved the landfill to resume operations on the East side of Cell E6, a contractor poured concrete for the diversion channel and another pumped more than 20,000 gallons of silt from a pond.
