There’s no doubt in Hawaii that Dave Shoji is the man when it comes to volleyball. Now the American Volleyball Coaches Association Hall of Fame has placed his name among the giants of his sport. The Rainbow Wahine coach was inducted into the Hall Thursday at a ceremony held in conjunction with the NCAA final four. Shoji spoke about how he got into volleyball as a student on a baseball scholarship at UC Santa Barbara in the 1960s. He has won four national titles as a coach.
