Djou, Hanabusa Break the $2M Mark
Republican Congressman Charles Djou and Democrat Colleen Hanabusa have both topped $2 million in fundraising in their race for the 1st Congressional District.
The most recent federal election fundraising reports show Djou raised more than Hanabusa in September, with Djou maintaining his lead. But Hanabusa appeared positioned to make the bigger final push, having started October with more cash on hand.

Inouye, who is running for his ninth consecutive term, spent $146,490 during the latest reporting period, and $2.86 million to date. As of Sept. 30, he had $1.74 million cash on hand.
