Thinking differently is what we are all about at Civil Beat. How can we serve our members better? What haven’t we thought of yet? These are questions we ask every day because our site is constantly changing and growing. Our members provide feedback that drives change; it helps us develop into the best new online news service possible.
This approach is becoming contagious in the world of business and . With the evolution of technology and communication, members or customers are equipped with a megaphone that they can share their good and bad customer experiences with.
Organizations have become less rigid and more open-minded about the way they are structured. It means as professionals we all have to re-think our approach to good member and customer service. That’s why and the are bringing together a group of people to speak about this change from 10-3 on Oct. 19. [re]think Hawaii’s website states the following goal:
“On October 19th, in partnership with HIFF we鈥檙e bringing a group of amazing entrepreneurs, innovators and community builders to tell a story about an idea that will get each of us to 鈥渞ethink鈥. There are more than enough experts in the world. There are never enough story tellers.”
