Prevedouros: Water Mains Break Daily
At a mayoral debate hosted by the Thursday, candidate Panos Prevedouros said: “In the last four years, the average of water main breaks is 364, one a day.”
Is it possible that Honolulu’s water main infrastructure is that fragile?
Apparently, yes.
According to spokeswoman Moani Wright-Van Alst, “Between 2005 and 2009, the Honolulu Board of Water Supply had an average of 364 water main breaks.”
Nicely done, Mr. Prevedouros.
